    SQL SERVER 2005 XE problem

    Hi guys, I've got this connectionstring on a certain site...
    Code:
    Data Source=190.190.200.100,1433;Network Library=DBMSSOCN;Initial Catalog=myDataBase;User ID=myUsername;Password=myPassword;
    And so, in my code I wrote
    Code:
    Data Source=192.168.0.1,1433; Network Library=DBMSSOCN;Initial Catalog=myDataBase; Integrated Security=true;
    With this connection string of mine, I can't connect to my sql server 2005 express edition. By the way, I am using VB.Net. Another problem, if can use the password function in mysql to encrypt password using sql how am I going to that in SQL Server? Please help me. Thanks.

    Express is a bit restricted on how you connect to it, see ConnectionStrings.com for some good examples.

    As for password encryption or hashing--don't worry about it. Just use the membership providers and have them handle that for your application.
