document.QTPlayer.Stop() buffering, not stopping! Why?
Anyone got any thoughts on why, when telling an embedded QuickTime object to stop playing, it chooses to pause and buffer the stream rather than doing as requested?
According to Apple, document.QTPlayer.Stop() is the correct function.
It's important that I manage to stop the stream, rather than pause it, as the stream carries live content and pausing it makes no sense.
The only alternative I've managed to come up with is to switch the stream to a blank file but that seems counter intuative to me.
Any thoughts would be welcome.

Here's the documentation.
There are no controls that stops the stream from downloading.
It appears that changing to a blank file is an appropriate solution.Programming Group Advisor

In that case, I'll waste no further time on it.
Thanks for validating my thoughts.
