    Post .htaccess and 403 forbidden errors

    hi everyone!!! i just installed a web hosting script but i have some problems with the users directory. in users directory this is the .htaccess file

    Code:
    AddHandler headerd .gif
    AddHandler headerd .jpg
    AddHandler headerd .bmp
    AddHandler headerd .png
    AddHandler headerd .txt
    AddHandler headerd .css
    
    Action headerd /users/head.php3
    
    AddHandler headered .htm
    AddHandler headered .html
    AddHandler headered .php
    
    Action headered /users/header.php3
    
    AddHandler zippo .zip
    AddHandler zippo .exe
    AddHandler zippo .rar
    AddHandler zippo .mp3

    and everytime that i tried to access any of my members pages the forbidden error appairs

    Code:
    Forbidden
    You don't have permission to access /users/agomez/ on this server.
    
    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    AG,

    I've NEVER heard of headerd or zippo. Where did you get those from? IMHO, stick with the standard handlers and you won't have that problem.

    I recommend gathering the individual files from Apache, PHP, MySQL and PHPMyAdmin and building your own (test) server. From there, you can build/test everything for your online server (without disrupting your websites) before you deploy - getting your own mix enables you to either keep up with the latest and greatest or, preferably, match your host's software versions.

    Now, you did not say what these scripts of yours were supposed to do so I have no idea why you thought they were needed (i.e., "no comment").
