How much a site in top 10 for "weight loss" is worthing?

    Hi guys,

I just need your input on this : How much do you think a site on top 10 for "weight loss" on Google is worthing?

    Thank you for your help.

I would say how much a site is worth has to do more with its current income (last month) rather than its Google position.

You might then project the future income potential of this site base on this position, its income growth over the last few month and a few other factors, and that might influence the sites value.

You would also want to look at the traffic numbers in the case that it might be under monetized. If that is the case, someone will a need a really could plan for monetizing it. Otherwise, you really just look at the current income as c2uk said.

Thanks guys. So,no matter where a site is placed the main factor in figuring out a price is its monthy income.

That and all those other factors that we've mentioned might have an effect on it. Just have a look around the Sitepoint Marketplace where sites are actually being sold to get a feeling for what is important to the bidder.

    Depends on many things.

For example, for how long it rank there?

    Whats its PR?

    How old is that site?

    etc

Google love new content and there fore places new site and new page high up in the search results, its the New Content Boost. After few days, such sites vanish from search results.

So its important to know the age of the site.
