    Tabindex troubles

I've never had a problem with tabindex before - in fact I thought it was rather straightforward, but this is odd:

I have tabindex attributes on the input fields on this page, but tabbing through the fields only works up to the Message textarea. After this, the tabindexes should take the cursor to the checkbox, but instead it moves to the Search input field.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

If your form is ordered in a logical fashion and has the appropriate labels then I wouldn't bother with tabindex - it's only really useful if you've got a horribly complex form that doesn't flow in a logical order.

I've tried without tabindexes.. If you have a look at the page, the issue exists because of the search box in the sidebar. I'm just not sure why it doesn't follow the tabindex order, or at least not in Firefox.

How do you want the tab order to be? If you want the search form to be between the "download vcard" and "Testing the Site News..." links, then that's what's gonna happen if you remove all tabindex attributes.

Well no, that's not really the problem I'm having.

I've tested and found it to work like this

    Firefox on Mac FAIL
    Safari on Mac FAIL
    Opera on Mac PASS
    Firefox on PC PASS
    IE6 on PC PASS
    IE7 on PC PASS

Can anyone test it on Firefox and Safari on Mac - maybe it's just my machine, I'm not sure?
