    Mobile browsers

    Hi guys and gals.
Ok I'm just thinking about doing my mobile version for my new site.
Any ideas on how and what screen width do you guys reckon I design for?

Thanks Dan that was extremely helpful.
    So using

i instead of em and b instead of strong is a better option then as it keeps code bloat down, thus download times.

    Do you agree?

Secondly what about the new web and walk which uses the safari browser?

It's meant to show full sites with images, do you know much about this as it is a relative new comer to the game and the best solution for picking that out and giving it 1 page graphically heavy, and 1 graphically light for all the others, that thread, even though extremely relevant and bookmarked I may add, may be starting to show it's age in that regard.

Any advice in this area would be extremely appreciated.
    Cheers

I actually prefer to use STRONG over B in most cases, since most of the time I'm just giving a section of content "strong emphasis" but if I specifically need to give a section of content bold text and have it appear as bold text all the way back to NCSA Mosaic (or on Lynx), I'll use B. (What I'm saying is that while I love to keep the code as small as possible, I don't cut off my nose to spite my face.)
