    Could also be a frog.
    Two of them. There were about 20 couples outside my hotel room in Clearwater FL. Kept me up all night with their croaks of passion.

    Those frogs are all over the place here in Florida. The concerts they give are intense when it rains

    So, here is a little bit more of the mystery shot that I showed before.

    I would guess that it is a [computer] keyboard tray.
    Obviously, this is the pivot point - where the head of something can be articulated (moved to many different orientations). It could be a lamp, but the screws are attaching a bracke to something large and (more or less) flat.

    Well thanks

    I am a detail nut, that is what I am. I pay attention to these tiny things so that I can use this information later in some work of mine.

    So, I have a few more sitting here in a folder. Go at it guys

    Well, this is obviously part of a mechanical device.
    Something that slides (to extend or stretch). My first thought was that of a "three hole punch" you see around the office.
    But I suspect this is a device used by an artist (craftsman).

    Am I close? "warmer, warmer, cold, frigid" {like the old child's game}

    Flowing water out of a faucet is right

    hmmmm.... they still look like glasses to me - but the strange green background and metallic-looking (?) object in the upper right side are throwing me off
