    .net based forums?

    Do you guys know of any forums using .NET? Or at least that can use SQL Server as their backend?

    AFAIK, phpbb can use MsSql as a back end.

    If you need a community site in a box, check out Community Server. It can cost ya, but it is very slick.

    I can add that nearly every PHP forum can use MS SQL Server.

    Well, why can't you run MySql? We run it on windows very effectively.

    Try to look for MS SQL provider for vB, I believe there must be one.
