    hover and border color in netscape

    Hi,

    Sorry if this a redundant question, but is it possible to get the 'hover' function to work and to have a table border color on Netscape?

    I think I recall seeing some css one time that defined a border color but can't remember it.

    Thanks for any help,
    Rob

    Question

    What version of Netscape are we talking about here?

    The pseudo-class :hover isn't supported by Netscape 4, so you're not going to be able to get that done. To put a border around a table, put this into your style sheet:
    Code:
    table { border: 1px solid #000000; }

    Yep Yep. You could use JS to achieve the hover, but your best bet is to accept that NS 4.7 users aren't gonna get the pretty effect. <- That from a stalwart believer that sites should be usable by ALL browsers!!*

    Thanks guys.

    I wanted to avoid using any JS so I'm just gonna have the link underlined.

    Appreciate the help
    Rob
