    How to implement google earth or similar?

    G'day to all,

    I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction with having a third party application like google earth included within my site.

    My objective is to be able to allow a user to import a map or directory of a location of their choice.

    E.G. Place of Interest: Local Community Center
    Address: 123 Smith St, MySuburb, 1234, Australia
    Map: {{{ PICTURE FROM GOOGLE EARTH }}}

    How do I go about getting this done?

    Many thanks in advance
    Regards,
    BJ Duncan

    Well, Google Earth shares a lot of data with the Google Maps API. That said, you could probably just use that, switch to sattilite / hybrid / whatever map view you want, then include that with the page. However, as longitude and latitude are important for maps displays, you'd need to do geocoding (described in the URL somewhere) to get that from the actual address.
