    IE6 does not respect height when content is higher, and a fix can be to set overflow:hidden. Or avoid overflow.

    It is the nbsp-content in "banner_img_bg" that is overflowing. That is why content is pushed down in IE6.

    A fix could be:
    Code CSS:
    #banner_left_inside {
    	float: left;
    	height: 202px;
    	width: 556px;
    	overflow: hidden;       /* added */
    }
    Or set font-size to zero in that div:
    Code CSS:
    .banner_img_bg {
    	width: 300px;
    	background-image: url(../images/inside_img_banner_left_bg.jpg);
    	background-repeat: no-repeat;
    	height: 202px;
    	float: left;
    	font-size: 0;          /* added */
    }

    Edit) Come to think about the IE6 Duplicate Characters Bug that probably plays a role here.
