    possible to delay load?

    i have a website that calls a widgit from another website mid page load using javascript and always takes a while to load thus preventing the rest of the site from loading which stuffs up the layout temporarily.

    is there a way to use javascript to only call these widgits once everything else on the page has finished loading (apart from placing them at the bottom of the source code and absolutely positioning them)?

    any input is much appreciated... even if its a simple no
