Disclosure.....I'm new here so hopefully this is in the right forum, this is my first real post, and the first website I'm creating. So please be patient with me...thanks!
Okay..on this site that I'm working on, I'm using CSS and html. I've created a div container in the main content area that is positioned absolute and then the 6 pictures within it are positioned relatively. The background of the div is the diamond design with the white frames for the pictures. I've noticed that when the page initially loads (in all browsers I've tested...IE7, Firefox, Netscape, Opera and Safari) the 6 images load slightly higher than they are supposed to be placed, and then they drop down to their correct positions at the end of loading. Is there a name for this? Is there any way to fix it? I would really appreciate ANY direction at this point..I'm totally pulling out my hair. The home page is not up yet, but here is a link to one of the pages and then you can just navigate via the menu. Thanks! ~Heather
