    unordered list acting up in IE, Opera, and Safari

    http://www.kentuckygolfing.com/forums

    If you look in the header under the search input, when you're logged out, everything is fine with the member info. You see "Welcome, Guest" and then the Register, Member List and Login links.

    Once you log in, the list starts acting up in IE, Opera, and Safari and I've not been able to pinpoint the problem.

    I've created a test account so you can see what's happening once you login:

    username: test
    password: testing

    Any ideas why all of the links are wrapping under the private messages area?

    Hi,

    IE doesn't like that right float without a width especially when it contains other floats.

    You'll have to give it a width to make it more solid.

    Code:
    #login{
    float: right;
    clear: right;
    padding-top: 20px;
    width:34em;
    }

    Hey Paul,

    Yeah I tried that and it worked, I just didn't know if there was a better way as I hadn't needed a width on an unordered list before. As long as it works, I'm good with it.

    Thanks again
