Request for online store..

Finally signed up

I´ve just recieved a request from a client asking for an online store, here is the request:

E-commerce site required for retail of homeware and luxury gifts. I am looking for (not so many products or pages required initially) Max 10 pages to start. Full package required: Design, Hosting and payment integration etc.
Domain name already purchased.

Just wondering what I should use for this. I guess it has to have an admin control panel with a simple way for this person to add, edit and delete products etc..

What would you Sitepointers recommend?

You can try something like OSCommerce, CreLoaded or Zencart. Alternatively you can use Wordpress with the eCommerce Plugin.

However you do it, make sure you go through the exact specifications with the client and sign a contract before you start any work.

Or you could look into Magento (it isn't quite finished yet - but looks great).

And get a deposit up front. (But that's more of a business and legal than a programming/scripting issue.)
