    Should I redirect?

    Greetings,

I hope this is the right place to put this question....

I have a form on my site that has 3 parts to it (3 seperate pages), and a thank you page. Each part of the form is dependent on the last. I am going to submit this site to the major search engines, and I don't want the second and third part of the form, nor the thanks page, to be indexed, as I want the user to have to start at the beginning of the form. What would be the best way to keep robots out of these extra pages, but not break any "SEO rules"? Should I do a 301 redirect on these pages if the user is not coming from the previous form?

Doing a redirect is one possiblity, the other is to block them from SEs with robots.txt.
I'd probably go for the redirect just in case any of your users happen to land on the 2nd/3rd parts by mistake. It's not breaking any SEO rules.
