    Access <--> MySQL !!!

    I don't use MySQL myself (and thus haven't tested it), but I came across this and remembered that there are often lots of posts about converting between MySQL and Access (and vice-versa). Unfortunately, it is not freeware, but the demo lets you test it 30 times (hopefully that'll be enough uses for most of you).

    Get it here:

    While this may be a good product for db conversion, other free applications work just as good and even have more features.

    MySQL Front for one is a great utility for MySQL. It allows you to import Access dbs, create/edit/execute scripts, and more.

    I acutally have a DB shared by MySQL and Access. All you need is MyODBC (which is free). That DB lives in MySQL so web vistors can view content live. And is update by various employee using Access and MyODBC.
