    I am looking for ...

when you set your browser to accept the cookies i.e
    Accept,blocked or prompt...

i want to store whether if user will close the browser the cookie will get loss or not???

i hope i am clear with what i am trying to find.i.e weather cookie will expire on the time i specified in setcookie() method,it cann't be saved or it can be saved but as long as browser is open once browser is closed the cookie will also get destroyed with it.

    Regards

You can only find out whether the cookies are enabled or not which is just as good. If cookies are enabled, you can set the cookie and assume it wont disappear when the browser closes. If they are not enabled, then you can handle it some other way.
