Eh, I would've filled it out if it were a random drawing.

Thanks for the feedback clipper. I tried to be very clear in the original post that the aim of this survey was twofold:
- To shape sitepoint.com into the site that YOU want it to be
- To gather data that we can use to bring more relevant advertisers to the site
As a result, the survey contains questions that cover both of these areas. Sorry you found some of the questions off-putting, I did my best to set expectations upfront.I design beautiful, usable interfaces. Oh, and I wrote a kids' book.

Hi friendsterindia
The survey shouldn't hang at the end -- it should display a page that says "Thank you for taking our survey." Is it possible you didn't one of the questions that requires an answer? I haven't had any reports from other people who have entered that the last page doesn't work...I design beautiful, usable interfaces. Oh, and I wrote a kids' book.

Great survey ! Felt like a breeze. :-)
I enjoyed going through it.
I would really love to see more business tips and more interviews with successful people. Usability tips and SEO are also topics I would love to see more widely covered here.

This survey is now closed, and we have about 5,000 responses to sift through and pick out a winner. Thanks everyone! Stay tuned -- we'll be contacting the winner directly before making announcing that they've won here and on the blogs.

OK, we've selected a winner. Now we're just waiting for them to respond before we announce it to the world. Exciting... I'm jealous!

Very nice post. Although we can't read through all the submissions I would like to say you guys picked a top notch winner. Yes we all wanted to win it, however those ideas were really good. Great job Ivan and have fun rocking out when you get it!
