    MySQL & PHP with PWS?

I'm about to dive into Kevin Yank's "Build Your Own Database driven Website Using PHP & MySQL" and I'd like to practice without publishing to a hosting service. (My present hosting service doesn't support MySQL & PHP, and it will be a few weeks before I switch to one that does.) I have a Win98SE system with Microsoft's Personal Web Server (PWS). Can it be done? If so, how?

I would suggest not using PWS and going for Apache. It is very easy to get running and people here will be able to help if something goes wrong

If you go the Apache route, check this link out for a very good install on Windows "checklist"
