Can a new domain be baned?

I recently bought a domain (videolala)
The sit is up and runing, hase some links but is not indexed by google.

I discovered that the domain was expired in september 2007 and was connected (probably) with some porn sites.

Is it possible to be banned by google? (domain was availeble when I bought it).

OOh, not so legal website - yes, Google can totally ban it. This is a site that indexes illegal downloads, right? THere's been a big crack down on these.

If the site is banned this is not because of the pressent content.

Actually it was not even crwaled. I think the past of this domain (before expired) may be the cause.

But I bought it 3-4 mounths after it was expired....

If you can prove you bought the domain and are a new owner you can file a reinclusion request with Google. This problem is quite common.

If you Googled "website is gone from google" you might, possibly, find an article that, might just, answer all of this and tell you what to do, that may have been written by someone here. Maybe.

It's possible, but linking to pr0n sites isn't necessarily bad. After all, for a large number of queries performed every day (I imagine...) then they could well be relevant!
