    css dtd`s?

    are there css equivelents, for the various css versions, of html's dtd's? machine readable grammer rules in a document?

    No. Appendix G of the CSS2.1 specification contains an LALR(1) grammar description and the setup for a tokenizer/lexical analyzer, though.
