I'M seeing a strange flickering when I hover over the logos in some of my sites in IE6. It happens here and also here. Can anybody tell me how to avoid this? I've been trying everything I could. Thanks!
I don't see the flickering you're talking about. How, I did notice that on your designBits site, the image with the text "web & logo design" looks weird in IE6. In FF it looks clean. Is that what your talking about?
I live in Madison. Where in the W1RLD do you live?
In IE6, if I go to another page on the site and then use back-button, the flickering is not present on hover. But if page is reloaded, the flicker on hover is back. I guess IE6 downloads the bg-image on hover. Maybe that can give an idea how to solv it?
Remove the "#header h1 a:hover" and the comma on the line before it and you should be fine. In scanning your code, I don't see the need for the "#header h1 a:hover" style.
IE6 has problems with background images and flicker. The best way to do it is with sprites or JavaScript.
