Duplicate content filters are usually found in the search engines. These days, there is a tool known as “crawler”. This type of software helps in determining and filtering duplicate contents. Crawler is just like pipe filters where in the dirt is filtered and completely eliminated. Crawler crawls into a suspected page or article and finds out whether it is copied or not. After the page has been marked, it is now placed in a queue for the indexing process. During the indexing, the article or the content will undergo certain algorithms and step by step calculations. Of course if crawler proves that your article it totally copied, it will automatically be eliminated in the search results.
a caveat though, copyscape is not too powerful. So there might be sites and pages that are not checked. Get a more thorough plagiarism checker.
It is also important that you have to avoid the duplicate content as it affects your business. You have to make sure that you don't write any spun articles. The online marketers have the advantage of calculating the figures of their business very inexpensively and easily.

Hi All,
I think the most important and practical web content writer resource is Copyscape. I have been using this tool since I became a professional writer (in 2005).

Dupecop is also a great reference for checking dupes but copyscape is still the best one in checking those duplicates. They are checking everything including the site structure on what's written in there = headings, footer, everything. So you can be sure of unique contents.![]()

Hey everyone, I think this is a good resource http://mycps.sitesell.com/. I got a free copy of their free ebook about content writing. It has been very helpful. I don't advertise for the site or anything. But you can give it a try if you want.
I usually use gorewrite, dustball and copyscape to produce quality content.

No. Spending time retyping gibberish goes against the very reason people use spinners. You use a spinner to spend ZERO time or effort writing.seems garbage-like, but after you refine and put some extra efforts and energies, you can get the best out of it.
Or you could just use those extra efforts and energies to write an article instead of retyping what a machine spit out. Then maybe, just maybe, it would not read like a boring rehash of every other article out there. Stipped of any personality or purpose, these articles read like oversimplified generalities -- with keywords inserted.
Why not use articles so generic they could refer to anything from hog farming to magic tricks, then keyword stuff to suit. Because that's what the web looks like, right now.
I think you may be confusing writing with typing.
