Question Addon Domains Completely Out of Order in CPanel - Mail Server Apache Configuration

I just opened another shared CPanel hosting account for unlimited domains (addons/sub), while also using a reseller account with WHM elsewhere.

I find that I like using CPanel alone with addons better than using WHM with each domain having its own CPanel.

There's only one problem. All the addon domains are out of order for management within CPanel. There's no apparent order at all, not even the order in which I add them. As you can imagine, this can make things a whole lot less efficient than one might desire, and be rather, um, disorderly.

I put in a support ticket and was told they can't do anything about it at all, and that the order of the listing of the addon domains is the order in the mail server Apache configuration.

Is there anything I can do myself from within CPanel? Do all shared hosting providers do it this way, or are there other good ones out there that enable you to have the addons in alphanumeric order? Is there a simple tweak to the mail server apache configuration that they can do that would straighten the addons out?

This really puts a damper on things I must admit, and I don't want another reseller account either.

    Thanks.

    Domains,

Apache is a WEB server. Someone's blowing smoke up your tailpipe about Apache being (or having) a mail server.

I have that same complain about most lists at my host, too, but, since they use a modified CPanel, I may have a chance.

    Regards,

    DK
