    Scrollable Dropdown?

    Hi,
    I've created a multi level nested dropdown in pure CSS, but it looks like I'll need JavaScript to help me with 2 things:
    1. IE compatibility - looks like i have it sorted with information from an article at ALA.
    2. The lists are too long to fit into the screen at once, so i need to limit their size, and have them scroll somehow, maybe something similar to this: http://www.flashloaded.com/flashcomp...lmenu/?id2=hts
    but in JS.
    Any Ideas?

    I've never personally tried this technique, but I believe you should be able to add something like:
    Code:
    height: 300px;
    overflow: auto;
    Which should add a standard scrollbar to the list.

    I'm not sure what you mean by the IE compatibility thing without seeing it for myself, though you shouldn't need Javascript to correct it. It's probably just a little hack that you're missing.

    Hi,
    It works, BUT, and it's a big BUT, it hides the child navigation items (it's a multi layer drop down) so I need JS. I'm even willing to pay. I contracted some external company to do it and they're not responsive.
