    Webalizer and search strings

How does webalizer work out which strings have been used for search?

Looking at my logs, I have had 1742 visits in the last week to a (relatively small) site that have come through search engines (from the search page, not the bots).

1102 of those can be attributed to adwords campaigns, leaving 640 that I presume came from organic searches. However webalizer only has search strings which relate to 59 entries....what happened to all the rest?

    TIA

I think google analytic possibly can give you more data about the stats that you're looking for.

I always found the idea of google having such a lot of data on your visitors (outside of their searches) for nothing a little creepy, so shied away from analytics. In particular:

Haven't looked at it for a while though, and having just had a quick look through I am very tempted.

Back to AWstats for now then - ta all.
