    UltraEdits' Project Managing and Dreamweaver

    Hello All:

For the past couple of years I have been using UltraEdit and moved over to Dreamweaver. However, I have a dellemia... UE has this cool feature called Project Manager where you can define a project and tell it all the files involved in that project.

What is is is basically an xml file that references where all your files are and just groups them so you know what you worked on when you open that project. You do not see all that, what you see is just a .prj file that saves on your hdd.

Does anyone know if DW does anything like this or has an extension that would give me this function?

Thanks for any advice or help with this,

    Paul

You can define sites in DW using the Site menu.

Thanks but I was looking for more than to just define the site, I was looking more to see if DW had more of a project manager like I found in UE.

    thanks for your suggestion anyway.

I can't help with Dreamweaver as I don't use it.

I use UltraEdit and love it, and would like to use the project manager side of it (saving .prj files), but I found that it automatically updated the file list when you closed or opened files. Do you know of a way to stop it changing the project file once you select the files in the first place? I need to be able to close files or open other files outside of the project without it automatically updating the project file.
    ride it like it's stolen
