How to find the field value that has focus

    Hi All,

I am Vishu from Chennai. I want to capture the particular field value that has focus dynamically. For ex. http://localhost/tracking/test.php?uid=412.

In the above URL, the uid is dynamic one and one web page has more URL's and uid(user id)'s also. Here, I am going to use the Tooltip to display particular user's email id when the user overlay(on focus) the URL. I am using PHP with AJAX. So, I've replaced href value with some javascript functions to dispaly the tooltip message. But, I do not know how to capture the particular href's user value dynamically. Please help me to fix the issue.

    Thanks in Advance,

    Cheers,
    Vishu.

What you mean by this? How will you come to know the user id from href's user value??
Mistakes are proof that you are trying.....

    Vishu.
Are you sure that you have stored the user id in anchor tag's href attribute? Why so? If you can get it like this $_GET['uid'] with PHP then why do you store the value in href?
