Question Buying traffics: are there reliable brokers ?

Buying traffics would appeal to me but I fear "ghosts" users sent by unscrupulous brokers. Do you know any who would be genuine ?

    Thanks.

Buying traffic by the visitors is against most ad network's term of services, I recommend using adwords or other means to advertise your site or services.

    Agree!

Buying bulk traffic is also a bit risky as you'll never know if you are getting human traffic or just random bots. I would suggest you just spend it on advertisements that would reach your target market

Well I understand it's risky for PPC. But for Affiliates Program it's different since Ghosts don't buy

Very true, I'll tell you right now almost no traffic bulk buys are worth it. Now if your buying a text link (w/nofollow) for the purpose of traffic you might see results, don't expect all the traffic right away as its usual natural and takes much longer.

I wouldn't trust any of them, i've heard nothing but horror stories.

You may just be buying traffic from bot armies.

I heard these horror stories too but there could always be exceptions that's why I am asking

Can you explain the "w/nofollow": why ?

    Thanks.

Google introduced the rel=nofollow attribute for hyperlinks, this is only used by the Googlebot crawler at this time. It tells the Googlebot not to follow the link and to not pass on any SEO weight\value to the link.

If you haven't heard, Google is penalizing sites that sell text links since text links can be used to manipluate search results and Pagerank. This is kind of off topic with what you asked.

I would recommend seeking out reputable sites or ad networks that sell ad space. What should be important to you is where your ads are placed, versus the buying of traffic in and of itself.

I would have to agree with most of you here. I've spent (lost) some $$ buying "traffic".
