Yes you have a very valid point there, still Flesch–Kincaid is a valid test especially for people that write content not in their first language, Do remember that for most humans alive English is a second language and we are talking about content writing for the internet here, allot of people rely on the grammar correction in word processing software and it may not be perfect but it does give us a clear indication that people can understand our writing.
I live in a country where the average education level is Grade 6 and our newspapers are written (in english a 4th language for most) with a score of 60-70, yet we still see the problem of people not grasping the content. To quote Julius Malema "there is no such word in the tebi dictionary"
Title, content, zest, own thought are desirable...
it should be interesting and arresting so that the readers are sticked to it all through the read up....and also not at all repeatative
In my opinion, the nest quality article is one which:
1) is free of grammatical and logical errors.
2) conveys useful and sufficient information.
3) does not contain any duplicates and is unique in itself.
4) keeps the reader engage till the last word.
5) provides latest and true information regarding the topic.
Heading should be great/Eye catching.
Then first paragraph should be very good. If that will be boring then nobody will continue to read that article.
Use bold texts where needed.
End with a bang.
Precise and easy to understand would be the key for a quality article in my opinion.
a quality article should also contain good (hyperlinked) keywords, so that people can come direct to your site if you are posting it somewhere else to promote your site.
1) Good written
2) Perfect grammar
3) Unique, should pass copyscape
4) At least 300 words
5) Informative and interesting to read.
There should be some uniqueness in the articles which should catch the attention of every reader.
1. copy scape free
2. 300 - 400 words only
3. 2 - 3 outgoing links
4. make use of fonts colors and bold and italics words.
5. easy wordings and grammer mistake
6. avoid spelling mistake
When you are writing an article you have to focus certain things regarding article. You have to be focus on the 7C's of communication.
My standard is express one's real feeling, and attractive and make sense, and have a good title, and not very long, easy understand!
in writing any article you need to think of the two readers you are writing to. 1 the actual reader and 2 the search engines. It will need to make sense to both.
Catchy title, informative and easy to read articles are reader's quality criteria
When it's earning money.
Words that are descriptive or ticks the imagination.
Conveying the best unique idea is the best article, no matter how long it is.
The best "quality" article is a unique one.
