I would love to help but I'm afraid I don't get your question. What do you mean by "How many anchors are good for SEO?"

    Thanks

It really depends on what your main keyword is, how new your website is, and how much natural links does your site already have.

    There is no magic number.

It's entirely dependent on the competition. If no one is optimising for a particular keyword phrase you could rank No.1 without just one good quality backlink, maybe even none. If you have a lot of optimised competition then you need more, it's pretty simple.

When you do your keyword analysis, the last part should be looking at the competing sites and assessing the quality and relevance of their backlinks and trying to judge if you can beat them or not.
It's 530 people, but do you really get it?

While I agree with the points made in the other replies, as a general rule you're right, more anchors (backlinks would be the best term) is better.

There is no magic number. More than the quantity, look for the quality of backlinks.

Depends on the frequency of queries you generally receive from your visitors or the potential keywords you think can bring out good conversion.

From the Search Engine Optimization FAQ:

    What is a quality link?

    A quality link is:

    1) On topic (The page linking to your page is about the same main topic)
    2) Ranked well for the keyphrase you are after (In the top 1,000)
    3) Contains the keywords you wish to rank well for
    4) Has high PR (PR 4 or higher)

I left out high traffic because that is irrelevant from an SEO point of view. But if you're looking at the big picture that would be #5.
