    Joomla 1.5 weakness

    Hello guys/girls ...

we're going to develop a business listing + vertical ad (cars, house, etc) in a web 2.0 way (user generated content, ajax, etc).

we have to choice whether it's joomla or drupal. our no.1 candidate is joomla 1.5 RC4.

while testing I discover some bugs & realize that there's only small amount of extension are available for Joomla RC4.

i want to ask your opinion about these issues:

    1. is there any security weakness or future possible hole in Joomla 1.5 RC4 ?

    2. what is the drawback using legacy mode for including old Joomla 1.0 extensions in Joomla 1.5 ?

    3. what's the effect of new Joomla framework for the extensibility of the site ? anybody has practical experience ?

    thanx..

Mate, in my opinion you should go for Drupal instead of joomla 1.5

I would second that, Drupal is much more geared towards larger scale web 2.0 development.

Would Drupal be viable option for a community driven reviews site?
