Removing the Arrow from SELECT Elements?

This is an odd request, but does anyone know if it's possible via CSS to remove the pull-down arrow on a SELECT element?

    Thanks,

Never seen or heard that you can, but, and your gonna like this, maybe...

Just had a thought though... What if you used CSS and made a Dynamic dropdown menu of some sort in order to accomplish that?

Yeah, that's probably my backup, but if I could just remove that arrow and use a native element, it would be a lot leaner and faster. I'm looking at doing this in a line-item display, so you could have 50 of these on one page.
