    First, get rid of the <br>s and the non-breaking spaces :
    Code:
    	<ul id="contents_list">
    		<li>Keep all labour laws in mind, as to maintain the highest dignity for labor</li>
    		<li>Safety of our customers and everyone involved at the exhibition set-up is of utmost importance and a fully equipped ambulance and fire brigade is always at the venue during the exhibition days</li>
    		<li>Use carpets and other accessories that are of the best quality</li>
    		<li>Pay constant attention to cleanliness and other hygiene factors</li>
    		<li>Install the most advanced security systems at our venues</li>
    		<li>Offer the highest level of facilities, services and technology</li>
    		<li>Ensure that venues chosen by us can accommodate all types of events with&nbsp;numerous delegates and clients meeting under the same roof</li>
    		<li>Attend to any customer complaint or suggestion immediately and ensureminimum turn around time to resolve all problems</li>
    		<li>Ensure high quality on-site services including hygienic food and refreshments and catering to different palates</li>
    	</ul>
    and try this css :
    Code:
    ul#contents_list {
    	margin:0;
    	padding:0 10px 0 10px;
    }
    ul#contents_list li {
    	margin:0;
    	padding:0 0 0 20px;
    	list-style: none;
    	background:  url(../images/main_images/img_industry_bullet.gif) left center no-repeat;
    	line-height: 18px;
    }

    Centauri, I had this ready before when you post the same solution.

    The bullet need to move a few pixel down:
    Code CSS:
    ul#contents_list {
        margin: 0 30px;
        font: 11px/14px Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
        color: #525252;
        list-style: none;
    }*
    ul#contents_list li {
        background: url("../images/main_images/img_industry_bullet.gif") 0 4px no-repeat;
        padding-left: 25px;          /* controls the bullet distance to the list-item */
        padding-bottom: 1em; /* controls the item to item space */
    }

    It is the center position, change it to 4px. (The bullet will be placed 4px from top-position.)
    Code CSS:
    	background:  url(../images/main_images/img_industry_bullet.gif) left 4px no-repeat;

    Apart from what erik said (although 6px looks better to me ), a little bottom padding on the <li>s may help to separate the individual points better :
    Code:
    ul#contents_list li {
    	margin:0;
    	padding:0 0 5px 20px;
    	list-style: none;
    	background:  url(../images/main_images/img_industry_bullet.gif) left 6px no-repeat;
    	line-height: 18px;
    }
