When was the last time you checked your site's PageRank? If it was last year (around late October, if I recall correctly) then it was likely devalued (along with a LOT of other Web sites) by the latest public Google PageRank update. (Even Ian Lloyd's site got hit, as did several other popular and legitimate sites.)

If you refer to today's 72.14.25 datacenter fluctuations...no need to worry yet. This PR update is far from being complete and the new PR hasn't been exported yet in the toolbar.

Thanks all of you for reply.

It was PR4 on the weekend and now it is PR4.

No, Dan Schulz, it was not last year. I check my site everyday and as soon as It changes PR4 to PR2, I post this question.

    Thanks

You do realise that each individual web page has its own PR and that it is quite possible fro a site to have both PR4 and PR2 pages.

Also the PR that Larry makes available for people to see is not necessarily the same as the value that the algorithm named after him calculates. The real Page Rank is a logarithmic scale running from 0 to 10 with many decimal places that is updated frequently. The one anyone but Larry and his staff can see is rounded off to the nearest whole number and is only updated every few months and so you may be looking at PR4 when all it means is that your page had a PR of 3.5000000000001 several months ago and now has a PR of something completely different.
