    Bulk Mailing Application Recommendation

    Hi.

Can anyone recommend a good web-based bulk-mailing application, not necessarily very expansive, but able to handle at least two hundred e-mail addresses and offer some basic tracking functionality.

Able to run on an Apache server, and using a MySQL database preferably (though SQL is fine).

Easy to implement and easier to use.

    Any ideas??

I think PHPList may do what you need, but I haven't tested it out myself yet.
    Check out their website: http://www.phplist.com/

    Thanks.

I tried out the demos and I found it somewhat difficult to understand. Worse yet I'd like it for a client's site and they aren't very web-savvy at all.

I might default to this if I can't get anything else, though.

Any other suggestions??... Pay software is fine. Doesn't need to be open-source.

Sorry, I don't know of any others.
I know what you mean about PHPlist...it's not that straight forward for first-time users.

Maybe it would be best to suggest using a hosted service like Campaign Monitor: http://www.campaignmonitor.com/

I use GroupMail from infacta.com. Very flexible, pretty easy to use once you've set up your lists, accounts and signatures, etc. Comes in several versions, including a functional free version.

    Hey everyone,

I am also searching for similar software for my boss.

Would any of this software listed above - or any other that's not listed - allow email lists to be converted to fax on the receiving end?

Have you looked at Dada Mail?

phillipus_rex - I'm not sure just what you mean by "Would any of this software listed above - or any other that's not listed - allow email lists to be converted to fax on the receiving end?"...but companies like www.ringcentral.com and www.jblast.com will let you fax broadcast to a list. Google "fax blast" and you'll find plenty of other similar companies.
