No surprise. I always seek these things back to nature. In many species looks is one of the decisive factors when choosing a mating partner.

It is true, we have an instant judgment about a face. We are not always right though I think.

It is interesting how the research points to these factors that women apparently take into consideration when choosing a mate. Although by the end of the piece they go into how this choice might differ blah blah blah. So it is probably not quite the way in reality.

Same goes for men choosing a mate, certain appeal has to be there in a physical way…

I read (and it seems to be a common opinion) that for men the physical appearance is more important, while women give preference to man's behavior. The explanation for this is supposed to be that women look for "alpha male" to take care of them, and even from man's appearance they prefer one or another because of the guessed behavior. Maybe.

I had to look him up. He doesn't do much for me at face value, but his House character has a certain attractiveness.
