adding nofollow to links google already knows about is useless?

I added nofollow to a lot of links on my site in order to funnel PR to more important pages however I noticed in google webmaster tools the internal links still shows a lot of links that I added nofollow too. The "Last found" was after I added the nofollow so in theory google shouldnt think those are links anymore, or am I missing something here.

Gotta give G more time to spider all your pages. Doesn't happen overnight. But you have a point, I've done the same as you on my site many months ago, I'd have to check that out.

Google still knows that they're links even with rel="nofollow" added and they follow them accordingly, they just don't pass page rank on to those pages (in theory) that's all. So perhaps Google webmaster tools is treating them in a similar way even though they aren't passing on page rank?
