    Question Local Search Results

Hi guys, I'm trying to understand the factors that affect Google local searches. Right now I'm seeing 3 levels of search results - let's assume google.com.sg as the local search engine for Singapore.

    1) google.com

    2) google.com.sg

    3) google.com.sg (pages from Singapore)

Rankings on (1) would be affected by your basic SEO factors, while you'll need to have a ccTLD or be hosted locally to rank for (3).

What about (2)? The search results look like a middle ground between (1) and (3) for me.

I've a website that's not hosted in Singapore and not a ccTLD but is appearing for (2), but not for (1) and (3).
