SEO book overrated?
Why does everything think that SEO book is so great? On nearly every webmaster forum I have visited the reception regarding SEO book has been mostly positive, but is that because the book contains superior content or because the author is a so called 'seo guru'?

SEO book doesn't seem like it lives up to its hype.Last edited by Jelena; Jan 4, 2008 at 02:12. Reason: no self promotional urls, please

It's way overrated. It contains inaccurate information and they do it on purpose. Stay away from paid SEO sources as they tend to be the ones with the most misinformation. The free sources are at least as good and usually better.

I have never read it, I tend to test stuff out myself. However, I have heard a lot of misinformation here myself. So my suggestion is to test stuff out yourself before taking other "seo guros" word for it
