    Javascript in forums

I'm totally new to javascript and have been assigned to learn about the use of javascript in forms by tomorrow. Since it was winterbreak, Christmas, and New Years I didn't feel like learning about it but now I need to know javascript by tomorrow. My mentor wants me to learn how javascript is used in forums and how it is implemented into forums. I'm assuming he will eventually want me to create a forum and use javascript in it. Can anyone give me a crash course on javascript in forums or give me a site that I can read up on it so I can know a little bit about what I'm talking about. Thanks a lot!!

    Forums or forms?

If you mean the former, it's difficult to learn about "javascript in forums" as it depends more on what exactly the javascript is supposed to do rather than what sort of site it is used in.

A good start is this and this is also a good place to read about, particularly if you want to look things up.

Sorry, I know this doesn't help, but I just had to - as they say - LOL about this.

I'm not quite sure which one he meant. whether it was forms or forums. whatever seems most logical. I'm guessing now its forms.

Seems to me that either you or your mentor really need to get your/his act together.

Anyway, in the first link I gave you, the Introduction to Forms is a good starting point. But you need to know a lot of the introductory stuff that comes before it to understand how to deal with forms and, well, javascript in general.

Good luck... seems like you need it.

So, you have no interest in learning this... You also don't even know what the task was. And now you expect people to spend some time and help you out?

Looks like life will be tough on you if you don't change your attitude.
