    Can anyone tell me why I get a confounded space between the two images

    Down at the bottom of this page: http://www.igreatlakes.com/our_sites.htm
    I have the table and cells setup with no border whatsoever.

    It looks like it's this CSS rule that's affecting the two images:
    Code CSS:
    #content_full img {
      padding: 4px;
    }

    Override that and it will probably be all right. You may want to remove the white space between the <td> tag and the <a> in the source, just in case.

    Hi,

    Apart form what Tommy has just said you will still have a space under the last image in IE because you have a misplaced closing tag here:

    Code:
                    </table>
                </center>
                </h2>
                <div id="contentMain"></div>
    There are no h2s in that page anyway so remove that closing h2 tag altogether.
