    Question about slaving a drive

I will be getting a new computer here soon and I want to run my old hard drive as a slave on the new one.

My question is, would any issues come up running applications that were installed on the old one (like finding registry values or something)? Would the applications need to be reinstalled on the new C: drive?

    Thanks!

since you're talking about the registry and your c: drive, i'm going to assume you're a Windows user. the answer is mostly yes. most windows applications don't like to be moved around and will require reinstallation.

you will need to install everything including windows (incase you want to use old HD to load windows),

moving HD to a new PC means to install everything again, inorder to avoid any compatibility etc issues
