Better stick with your blogspot domain.
It would be hard to ask webmasters to update your link in their sites.

Using the custom domain feature of Blogger uses a 301 (or 302 I dont know exactly) redirect, so not only visitors, but also the rankings are transferred to the new domain, so don't worry. Switch to custom domain.

How many links have you got to your blog? I'm not sure how many it is for a PR1 - you wouldn't want to lose all those though.

If you change the domain name, you will lose the top ranking.

You can convert current blog platform of your blog to Wordpress (not changing the domain name), it will not collapse page rank of your blog.

I believe you can change the domain name but all the backlinks you have received are rendered useless.

You can contact all the webmasters, but since you are starting from scratch, I suggest you go for your own domain this time.
