looking for PHP CMS super EZ to install and design (was "I need some Help!!!")

Hey EVERYONE hope you had a great holiday!


I am looking for a PHP CMS that is super EZ to install and design.
This is for a music producer. He is doing his own independent music producing. He is in need of a site that he can upload high quality MP3 and other broadcast music files at a moments notice. It will be like a personal itunes store except it will be his music.

KEY WEBSITE FUNCTIONS:
1. client secured ftp access
2. he needs to upload HQ MP3 easily ( basic tech knowledge)
3. some sort of catalog / music directory / search
4. each music file in the catalog will need a sample (15-30 sec) clip of the song
5. client account login and secure pay feature (all major credit cards & maybe paypal)

Where can I find a CMS that has all this installed in to and is also EZ do design? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't see this being easy without the help of a professional development firm. It sounds like a lot of customization is going to be needed for both the programming and design, and you will need to be working with people that do this sort of thing often. Probably the closest match for you is going to be some sort of shopping cart software that you will need to customize to work with the MP3s.

It sounds like a decent shopping cart that supports digital products will do the job for you, at least serve as a base!

The biggest obstacle will be uploading large mp3 files,you may need to mess around with the server file upload limit or look into using FTP for really big files.

I agree with blue dreamer - cubecart.com will do this too. Easy to set up and not too bad to redesign (bit of a nitty gritty job though)...
