Have a customer fill out a form without visiting merchant?

I'm interested in taking up an affiliate program with a UK blind company who pay you 20 whenever a potential customer fills out an appointment form, like this:

    http://www.hillarys.co.uk/blinds/arr...haddress=false

Is it at all possible to incorporate this form on my site and have customers fill it out there rather than having to pass them on to the merchant's site itself? I feel this would help reduce drop-off and therefore increase my conversion rate.

    Hey Jonny,

    Absolutely you can.

Just setup a form on your own site that contains all of the form fields in the form and name them exactly the same as they're called there. Then post the form to this address:

    http://www.hillarys.co.uk/blinds/arr...haddress=false

And you should be in business!

I'm assuming that the affiliate site doesn't do any IP filtering on where their forms are submitted from, but otherwise I don't see why it shouldn't work.

Thanks for the reply? Out of interest, could you explain how my affiliate ID would be tracked and the appointment would be attributed to myself?

It's actually in the URL if you look closely.

    Here it is:

    Code:
    http://www.hillarys.co.uk/blinds/arrange-a-blinds-appointment.htm?referer=blinds&isirishaddress=false
See the part that says 'referer=blinds'? Well that'll make sure you get the attribution for the referral.

Any questions, give me a shout.

Email them first, if not you might get in trouble and they will not pay for those lead.
