    CPM vs CPC

Many feel that CPM is another added way to get visiility on websites and increase traffic. Since Google has added CPM capability on website ads and banners, all I see is another method of advertising that is just not worth the bucks.

Even if you are paying $2.00 per click, that is almost always better than CPM on average (unfortunately). While it is tempting using CPM, it will almost always yield poor results as google will flash your ad as often as possible, and many times to the same visitor.

If you feel you must use CPM, then use it on sites that are "unique" sites. Using it on a forum could flash your ad 100 times to one visitor. Even worse, it is not unusual to see 1,000+ impressions and zero clicks... even on the most targeted of sites.

Yes... that's true the CPM must be used only on UV getting sites... and this has become important these days to get CPM because not people are clicking on CPC ads (pointing towards adsense) so its hard for a webmaster who is working accurately to achieve a decent income at least....
