    Can you post a link to your style sheet so we can see it?

    ok...so it can't be a problem with the style sheet itself then.

    What's the url of your project?

    Well it's not so easy to help without seeing the problem, if you get my drift.

    No chance of uploading it before Sunday?

    How about a little more detail?

    SO NOTHING from the stylesheet is working in Netscape? You might try a little test. Put a class into your stylesheet like so:
    .testing { font-weight: bold; font-size: 20pt; }

    Then, in your page, RIGHT after the body tag, put this line:
    <span class="testing">This is a test</span>

    If that works, then you'll know that it's not the stylesheet. If it doesn't work then be methodical. Start removing elements from your page and your stylesheet until it does work.

    A link would help us out more than your description. My suggestion is that if you have a question, have the code to display.

    The thing that's confusing me is that it's the same style sheet that's used for a current site and that one works in Netscape just fine.

    This is absolutely valid, though I would also add (just for good measure) a end tag and a media atrtribute set to screen like so:

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />

    The page (in Netscape) took over a minute to load. Having had experience with this before, I took a look at your code. You've got TABLE's nested 3, 4 and I believe 5 levels deep. Especially near your banner areas in the middle. While I'm not sure if this is the direct problem, it could be causing Netscape to time out when it tries to download the stylesheet.

    Try creating a page with some generic text in Netscape. Try applying some of the styles fro myour stylesheet to the text then view that in Netscape. Make sure to includ ethe <link rel> tag.

    Testing, testing, testing is the only answer in a case like this.

    got it. as creole pointed out it is because of the nested tables.

    thanks.

    No-one's mentioned it yet, but I assume we're talking Netscape 4.x here, not Netscape 6.x? For CSS in Tables, there's a WORLD of difference.

    If everything else checked out, it is almost certainly due to nested tables in Netscape. I have had simmilar problems with Netscape 4, nested tables (3 or more deep) and CSS.
