    Javascript is not working in mozilla 2.0

    for this javascript code in my asp.net application
    <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" id="aaaaa">
    alert();
    </script>


    I m getting this error.
    Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Not enough arguments" nsresult: "0x80570001 (NS_ERROR_XPC_NOT_ENOUGH_ARGS)" location: "JS frame :: http://localhost/MozillaRandD/Default.aspx :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 10" data: no]

    Please Help me........

    you need to alert something, even an empty string-
    alert('')

    As the error message says, your problem is that you did not supply enough arguments.

    you need to put an argument between the ( and the ) in the alert statement.

    For example:

    Code:
    alert('hi');
    or

    Code:
    var something = 'hi';
    alert(something);
